"Whenever we would have a YWAM conference and Andy was present, I would always ask him to share some stories. Andy always had them, they were awesome, scary, adventuresome and always funny. I was so glad to hear that he was putting them together for a book.

I still remember sitting beside Andy bouncing along something that can be roughly described as a highway, we were flying around pot holes that could swallow us whole. The destination, Nyrob, a small prison town and every person, every day, every circumstance was a story. It was an adventure I am so glad I was a part of. Now you can join the adventure down this winter road with Andy and Rachel and their team. Hang on for your life and hang on to your sides, you will laugh, cry, and hopefully in the end pray for this needy part of the world that through this book you will come to love."
Al Akimoff, Director YWAM Slavic Ministries

"Every vision that comes from God at some point deteriorates into hard work. This book strips away romantic gloss to reveal ordinary people who serve an extraordinary God. Open, honest, funny and moving accounts are given with refreshing transparency that will challenge you."

Dr. John L. Geissler, CEO Agape Distribution

"Russia is on the verge of some great changes and it's going to take a lot of wisdom and creativity. Andy's story is filled with both. Hearing God's voice is intertwined from chapter to chapter and will be the key for lasting fruit in the nation. This creative ministry will encourage and inspire you to believe God for the impossible in a nation looking for faith and hope."

Kelly Hoodikoff, Director
University of the Nations
Kyiv, Ukraine

"Andy and Rachel Frecka lead a life of commitment and sacrifice but also a life that is filled with adventure and fun. Andy and Rachel have made those seemingly opposing values come together as missionaries to Russia. One of the many qualities of true missionaries are people who take difficulties and find life principles out of them. Life principles that produce  perseverance, insight, humor and humility. You are going to see that as you read this book because that is what the Freckas are made of. Russia is no easy place to live. It is the forgotten mission field by many of us in the Western world. The Freckas have taken this challenge and chosen to incarnate their lives amongst the Russian people so that Jesus could be understood by people just like them. Let God challenge you to "your frontier" as you read how He has used this family to the nation of Russia."

Dr. Timothy Paul Svoboda

YWAM International City Missions Director

The Just A Thought blog states:
"You won't be disappointed. You'll find yourself praying for Russia, praying for missionaries to go into the harvest and praying your side will stop hurting from laughing so hard."
